In this workshop, as with all workshops, Sue will guide us step by step, through the making of this bag. 

Hosted on Zoom, a virtual platform that you can access from the comfort of your own sewing studio

Workshop Requirements:

  • Skill level requirement:  Intermediate              What is your skill level?
  • Sewing machine required: Semi-industriall such as Janome HD9, or industrial flatbed, depending on the materials used.  Please know the limits of your machine.
  • Please refer to the Supplies List below for all required materials, tools and notions.

9am-3:30pm PT Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 11/7/25- 11/9/25

About The Teacher

Hi everyone! My name is Sue Cheek, and I am the owner and designer of both Maggy55 patterns, and Maggy55 finished handbags.

I have been sewing leather handbags for over eight years, and have loved every aspect of it. I was a custom drapery designer for many years, and a lot of the design elements that I used in that industry, can be reflected in the details of my finished bags and patterns.
