Designing Soul to Sole: Custom Sneaker Workshop
Walk Out Wearing Your Artistic Style!
During this workshop, the bag makers are stepping out of the bag—and into a pair of one-of-a-kind kicks!
Join us for a special creative adventure where we trade straps for soles and stitches for laces. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to design and construct your own pair of custom sneakers that are as unique as you are.
We’ll blend craftsmanship with streetwear style, teaching you techniques that not only elevate your sneaker game but can also be used in future bag-making projects.
What you can expect from this workshop:
You'll explore:
- Quilting methods for bold texture and design
- Precision binding techniques for clean, pro-level finishes
- Setting eyelets like a boss (say goodbye to messy holes!)
- BONUS!-Drafting custom inserts to give your sneakers structure and personality
- Sole hand stitching with waxed thread for that beautiful, durable artisan touch
Similar workshops only have you complete one shoe, but we will complete both shoes in this workshop.
